About
Rebecca Porter is a rising Appalachian honky tonk artist whose honey-smooth voice and fearless lyricism create emotionally honest storytelling rooted in traditional country sensibilities. Originally from Guam, she's become one of the most compelling emerging voices in roots music through years of cultural immersion in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. Her live performances and 2023 EP 'Queen of the Local' have earned her recognition from tastemakers including NPR's Mountain Stage and Rissi Palmer's Color Me Country.
