East KY teenager Adalyn Ramey recently brought national recognition to eastern Kentucky by winning Bluegrass Song of the Year at the Hollywood Independent Music Awards on July 30, 2026, in Los Angeles, California, for her 2026 recording, “Angel at the Crossroads.”
At at age of 14, Adalyn is already a multi-award-winning singer/songwriter whose music reflects the heart and heritage of Appalachia. Her songs have received airplay on radio stations around the world and appear regularly on Top 20 bluegrass and gospel radio charts, including several national music charts.
Since 2023, Adalyn has earned nearly 40 award nominations and honors, with recognitions stretching from Jacksonville to Nashville, the Grand Ole Opry House, and even Hollywood.
Her momentum continues to grow. In the coming weeks, Adalyn is nominated for four International Singer/Songwriter Awards in Atlanta, Georgia, and six Josie Music Awards at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville this September. In addition, her recording of “Angel at the Crossroads” has already received a first-round nomination for the Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, one of Christian music’s most respected honors.
Music has been part of Adalyn’s life since early childhood. She first took the stage at just five years old as part of Billie Jean Osborne’s Kentucky Opry. At eleven years old, she signed her first recording contract with Dreamland Entertainment in Nashville, the label that produced the award-winning recording of “Angel at the Crossroads.”
