Steel Saddle Release Soulful Cover of Beatles “Don’t Let Me Down”
We’re pleased to share that Steel Saddle - our amazing Canadian friends and guests from Episode 8 of The Rugged Revival Podcast - have just dropped a powerful new live performance of The Beatles’ classic hit, “Don’t Let Me Down.”
The original song, written by John Lennon and released by The Beatles in 1969, remains one of the most beloved and emotionally raw tracks in music history - and Steel Saddle’s interpretation pays beautiful homage to its roots while giving it their own southern soul twist.
This live session was captured at CJLO 1690AM in Montreal, Quebec, and features:
- Engineered & Mixed: Zack Bruce
- Filmed by: Daniel Takacs
- Edited by: Coleman Canton
Steel Saddle continue to impress with their tight musicianship, vintage-inspired sound, and heart-on-sleeve performances, and this new release is no exception.
