Kenny Feidler Delivers New Album, "The Western Tradegy"
Nashville, TN - South Dakota native Kenny Feidler - an artist to watch who's quietly honed his craft for over a decade while steadily making waves - has released his seventh studio album today, Friday, October 17. 'The Western Tragedy' is entirely self-written and serves as a culmination of his deep appreciation for the West, the people and places who shaped him and an observation of occurrences, both good and bad.

Focus Track: "The Coyotes"
“The West has always been romanticized - I myself have been in love with it all my life, so I appreciate that," shares Feidler. "The landscapes are awe-inspiring and the legends and tales are endless - be it from history books or the old rancher at the bar - but sometimes the superficial parts of the West get peddled by the mainstream - cheapened to props, leaving the real human experiences neglected. There's a lot of pride here, legacies and history you can feel. There's a lot of heartache too. 'The Western Tragedy' is mostly a collection of vignettes about some people of the West, people important to me.”
A standout artist, writer and musician, Feidler wields a raspy, unmistakable voice that drips with raw emotion - each word delivered like an unfiltered confession. Far more than mere accompaniment, his longtime bandmates are also woven into the fabric of the album itself - playing on every track and shaping its soul behind the scenes, with members holding producer credits as well. The result of what they carefully craft is never just music; it's an honest reflection of who they are and the legacy they're carving out.

“The Coyotes" is Feidler's heaviest song yet and stands as the focus track for the project. With explosive vocals and cinematic storytelling, it captures the darkness of westward expansion while sonically blurring the lines of Americana and Rock and Roll. Also finding its home on the album are his two latest releases, “K.O.W” and “Idaho Hippies," which have garnered attention from Country Central, Whiskey Riff, Holler, CMA and ACM, amongst others.
Opening with “Choking on the Wire," a fan-favorite track that first emerged last October, 'The Western Tragedy' defies comparison, leaving its mark through sound, story and spirit. Sonically distinct and lyrically rich, it's delivered with a rare blend of care, intention and unshakable authenticity and should not be overlooked.
