Gary’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Hailing from Trinidad & Tobago, he’s spent decades pioneering Caribbean rock, fronting bands like Oddfellows Local and Jointpop, and sharing stages across the U.S. and Europe.
Now, with a deep love for Americana, Outlaw Country and Roots songwriting, Gary is carving out something entirely his own: “Trinicana” - a raw, poetic fusion of North American tradition and island soul.
With no established scene for this sound back home, Gary became a scene of one.
Gary reached out to us recently expressing his desire to join our mission. He says: “The Rugged Revival is one of the few places doing it the real way - roots, and for the music and people.”
