Jack Browning Releases Southern Rock Anthem ‘Speak Your Mind’ Ahead of Chris Stapleton & Tyler Childers US Show

Ahead of his return to the US this September to close out Tyler Childers’ Healing Appalachia festival (featuring Chris Stapleton, Lukas Nelson, Molly Tuttle and many more), rising artist Jack Browning is set to release his brand-new single, "Speak Your Mind (But Ride A Fast Horse)," on August 1st, 2025 — a bold southern rock anthem that barrels forward with the raw energy of a bar-room brawl and the poetry of a midnight confession.

Channeling his earliest country and rock influences, Browning delivers a blistering, no-holds-barred track that speaks truth with a snarl. Featuring a punchy riff and searing solo performed by Browning himself, the track is grounded by Rick Kent’s heartbeat-like percussion and Darren Juniper’s immersive bass lines, crafting a groove that’s as deep as it is dangerous.

While it kicks hard with its gritty instrumentation and sharp-edged delivery, the single doesn’t abandon what fans love most: Browning’s signature heartfelt lyricism — this time, laced with a touch of spite aimed at the doubters and detractors he's picked up along the way.

Produced, engineered, and mixed by Dan Lucas, and mastered by Charlie Francis, the song brings together a powerhouse team behind the boards to match Browning’s vision and edge.

“This one came from a place of frustration and clarity at the same time,” Browning shares. “I had folks I’d never even met deciding they didn’t like what I was doing because of their own insecurities, but it took time for me to realise that it wasn’t on my account. The cliques, the discrediting, it started to get to me and I got in my own head for a time,” he admits. “But you’ve got to say your piece — even if it ruffles feathers. Just make sure you’ve got the horsepower to keep charging forward with a healthy boldness and authenticity.”

“Speak Your Mind (But Ride A Fast Horse)” is a distillation of Browning’s lived experience — with stories collected from cities, highways, and sleepless nights across the globe. The song reflects that journey: wild, unpredictable, and defiantly authentic.
